Characteristics: Somewhat more complex sentence structures, occasional technical terms, but generally understandable.

Characteristics: Complex sentence structures, frequent technical terminology, specific subject areas.
Examples: Technical manuals, non-fiction books, scientific articles, legal documents.
Characteristics: Very complex and convoluted sentence structures, highly specialized technical terminology, often in a very specific context.
Examples: Medical specialist literature, draft laws, patent documents, philosophical treatises, scientific books and studies.
A standard line consists of 55 characters.
If an appointment for which the interpreter was scheduled is canceled, compensation is provided up to an amount equivalent to the fee for two hours, provided that certain conditions are met (§ 9 Abs. 5 JVEG).
For services rendered between 11 PM and 6 AM or on Sundays and public holidays, the fee increases by 20 percent (§ 9 Abs. 6 JVEG).
80.00 Euro per hour for additional time for special services according to Annex 2 (§ 10 Abs. 3 JVEG).
